Our privacy & AI promise
This work involves children, so we built StopBullyingPro to collect as little as possible — and to be completely clear about what does and doesn't happen with your information. Here is the whole truth, in plain language.
Your incident details stay on your device
The investigator, record builder, letter generator, and meeting tool run entirely in your browser. What you type is saved in your browser's local storage, on your device. We never receive it.
No server storage of a child's incident details
We have no database of incidents. Nothing about a child's situation is transmitted to or stored on our servers — there is simply no place on our side for it to live.
We never sell your personal information
Not the contact details you send us, not anything. We don't have a data-broker business model, and we never will.
No advertising based on a child's data
We run no advertising cookies and no third-party ad trackers. Nothing a family enters is used to target ads — to anyone, ever.
No AI training on your incident information
The investigator uses a simple, built-in set of rules — not a large language model. No incident text is sent to any AI service, and nothing you enter is ever used to train a model.
No hidden analytics on incident content
We don't instrument the incident tools with analytics that read what you write. Your words aren't measured, logged, or phoned home.
The contact form is separate from the incident tools
The only things that ever reach us are what you deliberately send — the contact form, or the optional “ask us to follow up” request — and both are just your name, email, and message. We ask you not to include a child's details, and they're completely separate from the documentation tools.
Personalizing your plan, and saving a report
We added guided help and a way to save or submit a report. None of it changes the promises above:
- Quick Help, the guided situations, and the school assistant are local-only. Your answers, your plan, and any contacts you organize stay in your browser. We don't receive them, and a school name is used only to tailor your own guidance — never to contact a school.
- Saving a report stays on your device. Save Privately, Download PDF, and Print Meeting Packet never send anything. “Email to Me” opens a draft in your own email app — your summary isn't sent through us. “Prepare Email to School” makes a draft only; we never send it for you.
- Anonymous submission is offered but not yet enabled, and the home-page impact numbers count only your own activity on this device. We'll only enable anonymous trends with a privacy-safe, aggregated design that stores no incident text and no identifiers.
You don't have to take our word for it
Because the tools run in your browser, you can verify this yourself. Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use the guided investigator or record builder. As you type and move through the questions, you'll see no network requests carrying your information — the data simply stays on your device.
A note on honesty
We describe what we actually do rather than making certification claims. We don't call ourselves “COPPA-certified” or “HIPAA-compliant” or anything we haven't earned — we just keep the design simple and private so there's little to get wrong. StopBullyingPro is an independent, private service; it is not a government agency and is not affiliated with the resources we link to.
